Tonight in Berlin, the third issue of the Poetry is Dead Magazine, a tri-annual poetry publication, will be launched at Mindpirates Vereinsheim (Kreuzberg). Reading via Skype from his upcoming book, Daniel Zomparelli (Editor-In-Chief) will also present an audience led reading from the new issue. Following Zomparelli, Neal Rockwell, a Montreal-based writer, photographer and activist will present, Out There, his 30 minute poetry-based video work.
“Rockwell is primarily interested in telling stories and ways of telling stories. He uses photography and video to explore the interrelationships of journalism, cinema and literature in an attempt to create art works, which are both mentally stimulating and socially relevant.”
