This week, SemiDomesticated will host their fifth and most expansive show and sell event, showcasing the work of sustainable fashion and interior designers. Through their website and curated events, SemiDomesticated promote the work of creatives who upcycle, re-imagine or reappropriate commodity items. But this is no coffee-filter turned lampshade fare, judging from their previous events expect genuine innovation with a sustainable bent. This event, at the amazing Mind Pirates Vereinseim space (approximately behind Magnet Club, Kreuzberg) is called “Funky Fresh” and will revisit the throw-away culture of the 80s and 90s through the lens of modern sustainability. The showroom opens Wednesday the 5th and runs until the 9th with special events programmed daily.
