A new artist collective is seeking like-minded participants. And amidst the very many artist-manifestations this city seems eager to support, the name does spark some intrigue…
“We are a newly-born artist collective in Berlin. We are searching for talented, creative and ambitious people in the city to produce artistic projects with meaning, awareness and message. We are aiming to support each other, expand the artistic network and find more resources to impulse both personal and collective projects. Different disciplines are welcome. We are people from different nationalities, age, gender identities and political views, and we explicitly reject hetenormative, sexist, racist, nationalist, oppressive, hate speech discourses. Our strategy is not only to confront empire, but also to lay siege to it. To deprive it of oxygen. To shame it. To mock it. With our art, our music, our literature, our stubbornness, our joy, our brilliance, our sheer relentlessness, and our ability to tell our own stories. Stories that are different from the ones we’re being brainwashed to believe.
Interested? Inspired? Please write us some lines about you and your work to collective@ieatfear.com
Since fair giving and receiving is basic for us, we would like to know with which things you can contribute working with others and which things you would like to receive from the creative group. We are looking forward to hearing from you!”
