The artisticDialogue project calls for all Berlin-based artists (between 20-35 years old) to work on a collaborative project with another foreign (non-German) artist and mentor for one month starting in April 2014. Berlin Con Mucho Arte (BcmArte), a non-profit cultural and artistic project run by foreigners for foreigners, will be hosting artisticDialogue in their Kreuzberg space, Kleiner Salon. Deadline for submission is January 26, 2014.
Bringing together various academics as mentors to guide each artisticDialogue project, all projects will include artists from different disciplines and different countries working toward creating something new, bold, and collaborative that will be presented in a month-long exhibition at Kleiner Salon. Each group will include a German artist, a foreign artist (currently based in Berlin), and a Mentor who will enhance the artistic and interactive dialogue between the two artists. The artisticDialogue project is open to all artistic disciplines, however the artistic methods used by both artists must be collaborative and the mentor must possess an interdisciplinary vision in order to foster the dialogue between the two artists.
