On Friday Oct. 3 to Sunday Oct. 5, Greenhouse Berlin will host Signs of Dexterity, an art convention and market. 73 artists from 23 countries, both emerging and established talent, will show their works on the 7th and 8th floors of the Greenhouse Berlin Building – a former job center in Templehof that was converted into ateliers for artists. The exhibition space offers a scenic view of Berlin as a backdrop for the artworks.
As the title makes clear, the focus of this years art convention is on dexterity, tapping into the seemingly unlimited potential for creativity that is found in the most simple art form: the two-dimensional image. Signs of Dexterity will showcase experimental drawings, prints, paintings, illustrations, collages and photography. However, the convention does not limit itself to just this, involving an extensive program of other events like concerts, lectures, live drawings, screenings and a fashion show, among other mediums and events. A program and map can be found here.
Signs of Dexterity will launch on Friday Oct. 3 at 5:00 PM. There will be a bar and vegan food on site.
