The first call for projects by Perspektive begins now with a deadline on Dec. 5 2014. In January 2015 the expert committee will announce the projects that shall receive funding for implementation in the same year.
Perspektive – Fund for Contemporary Art and Architecture was founded in May 2014 by the Bureau des arts plastiques of the Institut français Germany with joint funding from the Goethe-Institut, the Institut français and the French Ministry of Culture and Communication, to reinforce the cultural cooperation between the two countries.
Perspektive is aimed specifically at projects that focus on exchange and collaboration with artists, architects and intermediaries of the emerging scene of both fields between Germany and France.
Both public and private institutions are eligible to apply, including museums, art centres, architecture centres, Kunstvereins, galleries, project spaces, artist-run spaces, alternative exhibition venues, educational establishments for art or architecture, curatorial studies, research centres as well as universities. Seminars, workshops, symposia, conferences or concept and research labs that contribute to the dissemination of ideas and competences will be funded.
The call for proposals takes place once a year for the forthcoming year.
