From April 8th to 11th, World Art Dubai will be hosting its inaugural art fair and the only one of its kind in the Middle East. With the catch phrase “Inspiring Lifestyle with Accessible Art”, the art fair boasts a diverse and affordable fusion of regional and global art through which the city hopes to further its role as an international centre for cultural and artistic innovation.
As a gateway between the East and West, Dubai has quickly become one of the world’s top destinations for tourism, foreign investment, and business. The city has set itself apart as an ideal location for intercultural exchange and investment in the arts, with over 200 nationalities living and working there. World Art Dubai will thus bring together a wide array of modern and contemporary artists from over 35 countries, acting as a catalyst for international artistic discourse in the Middle East.
The event will showcase various regional galleries, including Alif Art Gallery, a contemporary art gallery in Dubai with a focus on Central Asian art, as well as galleries from across the world, such as New York’s Emmanuel Fremin Gallery and Villa del Arte Galleries in Barcelona and Amsterdam.
Attendees of the art fair will also be invited to take part in a variety of workshops, talks, seminars, installations, curated walks, and musical performances, catering to the interests of art enthusiasts, buyers, and collectors alike. World Art Dubai welcomes the public to participate in the Middle East’s one and only art fair.
