Budapest-based contemporary art gallery Chimera-Project announces the launch of the third Chimera Art Award. The application is open to any emerging to mid-career fine artists, under the age of 40. The first prize is an exhibition at the Chimera-Project Gallery and includes an exhibition budget up to 1000 USD, an exhibition review and a professional account on the works.io portfolio platform, the main partner and sponsor of the award.
The 2016 jury consists of Stéphane Bauer, director of Kunstraum Kreuzberg/Bethanien in Berlin, Dóra Maurer, artist from Budapest, and Judith Welter, director of Kunsthaus Glarus in Switzerland.
