The Collegium Hungaricum Berlin (CHB) is inviting performers and artists to participate in the next event in their performance series ‘Montag Modus’, to be held on April 10th, 2017 at CHB. Contributions are wanted for installations, videos, performance, dance and any other type of performative production.
Montag Modus occurs every two months and focuses on the interaction between the fine arts, dance, theory and music. It has been running since May 2015 and has included over 70 participants. Following last year’s topic ‘entropy’, the theme for 2017 is the process of reorganization and redistribution. This year’s editions will explore the ever-changing mechanism of producing reality and value systems. Artists from all disciplines are invited to present their personal approach to the theme through performance.
CHB offers EUR 150–300 per performance, including production costs and accommodation if necessary. CHB will also aim to cover as many technical requirements as possible with prior coordination, and provide photo documentation of the performance.
The work can be new or previously exhibited and must be no longer than 45 minutes. To apply, proposals including project description and artwork documentation should be sent to montagmodus@hungaricum.de.
