Seoul Art Space Geumcheon is offering 4 residency periods of 3 months each, throughout 2017 and 2018. It is the art space’s 9th annual open call and they are seeking applicants working within Visual Artist and New Media Art fields. Painting, installation, video, photography, digital art, visual art and interactive art are all considered appropriate and participants must submit their application by April 10th.

The residencies will last a duration of 3 months each and the programme will run from October 2017 – December 2018. Financial aid for travel and accommodation are provided and each selected artist is entitled to one room in a studio. Throughout their stay in Seoul participants will be offered PR support as well as liberal use of the media lab, warehouse, equipments room and seminar room.
Applicants can apply by accessing and downloading the application packet here. The packet must then be sent by email to sasg.opencall@gmail.com. The application must include statement of creation, career information, portfolio in PDF format and a copy of passport. The residency is open to individual artists or artists working as a group with no more than two people.
