The Rabbit Island Foundation is now accepting applications for their 2018 Residency Program. The foundation is seeking a dynamic group of artists to live and work on the island for a period of 2–4 weeks between June–September of 2018. The awarded residencies will simultaneously challenge the participants and strengthen the nexus of art, ecology, conservation, and community.
Artists from all disciplines are invited to submit a proposal that immerses their practice in this remote wilderness located in Lake Superior. Residents receive a generous honoraria to cover travel, materials, and other expenses, as well as a catalogue publication and possible exhibition with our programming partner the DeVos Art Museum in Marquette, Michigan.
