Open Call for Pivô and Salta Art Residency

The research program Pivô and Salta art will offer a residency in São Paulo for curators, cultural workers and professional contemporary visual artists from Munich and the Munich S-Bahn area from August 7th to November 6th, 2024. There is no age limit, but the exchange is not suitable for students or artists who are at the beginning of their careers.

During their stay, participants can take advantage of activities suggested by Pivô, such as curatorial guidance, a master class with a guest, one-on-one meetings with guest speakers, group exercises and workshops. The program for each semester will be announced by Pivô at the beginning of each period. The activities and orientation will be defined by the resident and with the curatorial support of Pivô’s team.

The resident will receive a stipend of $800 dollars from Salta art, accommodation and public transport will be paid or reimbursed. A roundtrip economy ticket between Munich and São Paulo will also be covered by Salta art. For additional readings, workshops, seminars or research trips, the residency holder will be reimbursed for expenses and receive an honorarium by Salta art. Some material costs will be reimbursed.
