The Polish film festival filmpolska and Kino Babylon offer a free workshop for up to 12 participants (with or without experience in film-making) to learn the single steps in setting up a film: to prepare your own scripts, do film shoots and lead post-production.
The workshop will be lead by documentary filmmaker and creative artist Piotr Stasik, recipient of multiple awards e.g. for ‘Diary of a Journey’ and ‘The Last Days of Summer’. Fascinated by the idea of light-heartedness, Piotr Stasik takes an original approach to researching and creating ideas for filmmaking. In a serious and entertaining manner, he paves the way by using the motto: “50 things you should have done before you turn 13“.

The workshop takes place daily from April 26 to May 1, 2018, from 10 am to 6 pm at Kino Babylon Berlin. The working language will be English. Send your CV and a short letter of interest in English by April 10 to Kamil Bembnista: workshop@filmpolska.de.
