The Reaktor’s cross-disciplinary programme focuses on film, space-defining art and music theatre, new music, jazz and experimental interpretations of contemporary music. In October 2021, they will present the third edition of the REAKTOR International Film Festival, RIFF. Over four days of screenings, they will show films from all over the world with everything from hidden gems and rebels without a cause, to monstrous abysses and heartbreaking beauty. This open call invites filmmakers to submit their projects from now through July 31, 2021.

As well as this, there is an open call for concepts for a spatial intervention with a focus on Reaktor’s main hall. The chosen artists will be invited to expand their concepts over a one-week residency during the summer months and then exhibit their work to the public at the end of October 2021. Costs for travelling and accommodation are covered and there’s a budget of up to 3,500 Euros for the exhibition production, together with practical assistance from the Reaktor’s technical team. The deadline for submissions for this open call is May 31, 2021.
