The Department of Culture of the Neukölln District Office is sponsoring a visual arts award for artists based in Berlin-Neukölln. In cooperation with Kulturnetzwerk Neukölln e. V. and STADT UND LAND Wohnbauten-Gesellschaft mbH, the Neukölln Art Prize invites any artist with a residence or studio in Neukölln to apply.
The award winners and the artists nominated for the award are determined in a transparent procedure by a jury that will select seven applicants for a group exhibition at the Galerie im Saalbau. The art prize has a total endowment of € 6,000, and the fund is divided among the three winners as follows (1st prize: € 3,000, 2nd prize: € 2,000, 3rd prize: € 1,000).

Eligible applicants should have completed an artistic education and/or can prove several years of artistic practice, have been living in Neukölln for at least six months, or have their studio here. In addition, artists must submit an existing work and is not older than three years.
