The 40th edition of Interfilm festival and the 17th edition of KUKI Young Short Film Festival are looking to receive submissions for the international short film festivals in Berlin. Both festivals prioritize a narrative focus, innovative film forms and fresh ideas that will be found throughout all 50 programs collectively presented by Interfilm and KUKI. The festivals aim to be an inviting, enjoyable and pleasant place for thoughtful discussion on the political and social realities of today, presenting during the festival in Berlin in November.
Films of all forms, genres and formats can be submitted by May 29th via shortfilmdepot.com and should be a maximum of 20 minutes in length BIPOC and queer filmmakers, filmmakers with disabilities and people coming from marginalized groups are particularly encouraged to submit their work.
