The city of Pforzheim, Pforzheim University and Design Center Baden-Württemberg invite young international designers to sign up for the 2025 edition of Designers in Residence. Artists practicing jewelry, fashion, accessory, industrial, graphic or other types of design can apply for the three month scholarship program, which will take place from April 1st to June 30th at EMMA – Creative Center Pforzheim. Each recipient will be granted a €1000 monthly stipend, remuneration of travel costs, as well as free accommodation and access to fully-equipped workplaces. The work produced during the fellowship will be exhibited at EMMA at the conclusion of the residency.
Participants must have completed studies at a university of applied sciences or other university, must not be older than 35 years or have completed their studies no longer than two years ago.
To apply, a project proposal, CV, proof of studies and portfolio should be submitted on EMMA’s website before November 16th. All documents must be in English. A jury of international designers will select three artists in mid-December.
