Found windows, photographic fragments, fields of mark-making and an eerie soundtrack come together to a rather unsettling effect at Galerie im Turm. Artist Carla Mercedes Hihn has teemed up with composer Sebastian Zidek to create an installation which confronts the viewer with nebulous images and associations – photographs which are left without an index, half-remembered places, enhanced by the sound generated by the pieces themselves (Zidek amplifies the sound made by the glass panes, and intermingles it with pieces of his own making). The pieces echo the imprecision of memory.
