Sub Rosa – Info Punkt Publication (2014); copyright Anne Fellner
Leipzig-based collective Info-Punkt announces the launch of their latest publication Sub Rosa. The collection of drawings and poems is edited by Anne Fellner.
Sub Rosa is based on the concept of an autograph book or the more popular German “Poesiealbum,” a small book or loosely bound collection of pages for collecting sentimental mementos such as poems, sketches, quotes or autographs from friends, family members and colleagues.
The Latin phrase “sub rosa” – in English “beneath the rose”- means: in secret, privately. All contributors were invited via personal invitation to send a submission of their choice for the publication. The resulting collection features works of 59 people: friends, artists, poets and family members.
A publication launch will be held on Saturday, May 31 at Rosengarten in the Humboldthain park. The collection will only appear in digital form and can be downloaded for free from the Info-Punkt website. The password “Rose” is required to download the book.
