The Goldrausch Künstlerinnenprojekt invites women artists to apply for their one-year postgraduate programme, aimed at educating and promoting young women artists in a professional industry context. The course is designed for fine arts graduates and experienced visual artists to gain knowledge and skills to help them build a career as an artist. Goldrausch offers a platform for artistic and professional development through a focus on fundamental art-industry areas such as legal and financial management, media and communication, funding, exhibition and publication, and self-conception and presentation. The programme also provides valuable opportunities through critical feedback and networking, and participation in a group exhibition.
Running from January 1st to December 31st and based in Berlin, the course involves seminars three times a week and open workshops. The programme has no course fees. There is no age limit and Goldrausch encourages international artists to apply, though the course is taught in German. Applications require a university Fine Arts degree or equivalent. More information on the programme and how to apply is on their website, www.goldrausch-kuenstlerinnen.de.
The application deadline for 2016 is August 31st, 2015.
