Vilunki 3000, DJ Candle In The Wind, Tomi Leppänen and Stiletti-Ana have come together to share their cultural connection amongst Finland’s tight-knit electronic scene. Each performer will take part in two performances, one as a solo act and the next as a collaboration with another artist to highlight the intimate influence that musicians can have on each other.

The workshop focuses on human motivations and interactions with environmental changes. Its focus is to explore how former means of sensing and collecting data about climate and ecology can be reworked to promote human involvement with the issues. This multimedia piece is centred around the story of the crowdsource hologram sensation Hatsune Miku. Now being used globally, and after having produced 100 000s of songs, her presence in this performance is used to elucidate issues of consumerism, sexism and personal culpability. Journey through sound to the 1980’s to a post-RAF Berlin from the May First festivities in Kreuzberg. It all begins with the murmuring of Heiner Müller typing, the sound of the subway trains, and many other mechanical rhythms. The event with feature machine art forefather Andrew Unruh, media expert Siegfried Zielinski, film footage from Walter Lenertz and more.
