From June 16th-18th, the Berlin districts Prenzlauer Berg, Weißensee and Pankow will become an open-air art gallery. ArtSpring will dedicate a whole weekend to studio practice in the area: some studios existing for decades, others only a few months. ArtSpring aims to make them all visible, opening the doors to the public. The production of art, which often takes place outside the public, will become accessible, the artist approachable. In addition, the weekend offers the opportunity for artists working in the Pankow district to connect with interested parties and one another.
The Ateliergemeinschaft Milchhof e.V. has been an integral part of the Berlin art and culture scene for more than two decades. With the project and exhibition space ‘Pavilion am Milchhof’ and their guest atelier, they work to promote and support artists in the area, maintaining and expanding the work opportunities for artists. The Milchhof organized “p.art”, the day of open studios in Pankow and, after six years of rest, they are seeking to revive the tradition, now supported by the Department of Art and Culture.
ArtSpring is calling for the artists with a studio in Prenzlauer Berg, Weißensee and Pankow to participate in this year’s event. You can register by clicking the “Anmeldung” button on their website below.
